This is Kia, my (not pure breed) chocolate Siamese cat, of three years old that lives between books, computers and paintings in Buenos Aires. Its name was inspired by Kira, a fairy of the Gelfling race created by Brian Froud for the film “the dark crystal”.



At the beginning she lived with a Rotwailer, a Dalmatian, and other two cats.



And Although the other members had more time living in the house than she, that did not excused them of being confused with toys to chew and to chase. Her greater fun time was to set a trap hidden from her tricolor friend, to scare her and to make her jump.



In her new home only shares the afternoons with her old crime companion Justin, another cat with ironic sense of humor and predilection for the forbiden places for them.



Kia knows the way, at the most unexpected moment, make you smile and sorprise you with some human behavior almost unthinkable for a cat.



I have seen how she hides objects of a determined person in the other cat's litle bed with the only intention of amusing herself.
Also we have surprised her watching films, that somehow she mannaged to play.
I have listened answering when she is caught in a non authorised place for her. (I do not want to understand what she means with this particular meowing, that she does in those exclusive occasions only).



As we say with Fernando: Kia plays the cat only because she knows is convenient.
